Week 32: "Are you nuns?"
A valid question! But it made me giggle π. There's not a whole lot to share from my letter this time, other than their special reward of one extra hour of sleep Saturday night for being such good missionaries! ππ
Here's the group email:
Good Morning!
Holy cow, we have done A LOT of walking this week! But it was fun. We enjoying visiting as we walk and the sun even came out a little bit one day so there were people outside to talk to!
Halloween was fun. We dressed up as sister missionaries. ;) We spent the day visiting friends were already know because knocking on doors on Halloween is just plain weird. And every friend we went to gave us candy! It was fun.
It's been a great week! Full of rainy days and lots of good food. Sister Larsen and I tried our first New England clam chowder and it was delicious! I think we both surprised ourselves. While we were at that fancy restaurant the hostess came over, read my name tag, and asked, Are you nuns?!" Haha, we get that a lot. Then we usually get told, "You're too young to be nuns." Nope! Just missionaries. :)
Have a great week! Remember that God loves you!
Sister Fairbanks
1 - sometimes we eat really well, other times we have chocolate milk and nachos ;)
2 - setting up for a Skype lesson
3 - the story we shared with everyone on Halloween
4 - beautiful fall trees
