Week 33:...and that rhymes with P, and that stands for Pool...

As long as it's not in a bar, then yes, the girls would be allowed to play pool on their day off 😊.  I bet that was a fun diversion!  It sounds like Sister Larsen and Sister Fairbanks have been so good for each other.  Chances are that one of them will be transferred tomorrow, but that's how it goes.  I'm amazed that they got to have this much time together!

Her letter to me was just overflowing with happiness.  She's really thriving right now.  I'm glad, because life happens, and she'll need these happy moments to get her through the rough ones.

Here are some extra pics she sent to me-

1 - We recorded a song. Soon to be released...
2 - I made tequenos! (a Peruvian finger food that we love) They kind of failed...
3 - pool
4 - goofy πŸ˜‚
5 - my district!

Here's the group email:

Good Morning!

It has been an awesome week!! So full of laughter and fun! Last Monday for Pday we went to go bowling in a community center we just discovered. But the bowling alley was closed so we played pool instead. It was fun!

On Tuesday the sun came out! It was glorious! We took our jackets off and partied, haha. I didn't realize how much I had missed the sun already. Then, of course, it snowed three days later. Haha. That evening we had some friends take us out to dinner and it was a riot. It was a day full of joy. Oh, and then that night we learned that we have another person we are teaching that has multiple personalities. That's three for my mission. It definitely makes things interesting. ;)

The snow came on Friday afternoon and it was actually so pretty! And cold. It melted the next morning so it didn't last very long.

Yesterday was hilarious! Sister Larsen and I just had a fun day. That morning in church she played piano for one of the Elders to sing and they both did beautifully. That afternoon we were just having a really fun conversation. Then the giggles came... it was getting dark out and so I went to turn on the lights. I had just grabbed popcorn and a drink out of the kitchen and had them in my hands. I was able to flip the switch with my right hand but there is a short sometimes and it didn't turn on. So I thought "Maybe it will work with my left hand." But instead of putting the popcorn bowl down nicely I just dropped it on the floor! Haha! Popcorn went everywhere. It was like a glitch in my brain. We were laughing our heads off! And then I had to get down and clean up my beloved snack. Hehe. Maybe it's not as funny in writing, but I promise it was fantastic. πŸ˜‚

I wish I could share all of the funny and joyful moments that I experience every week. Sister Larsen and I are always having a party and we teach some hilarious people. It's weeks like this that make me think that laughter and joy is the essense of the gospel. Actually, I know it is! Our Heavenly Father has given us everything to bring us eternal joy! As Sister Larsen has said, "The joy is so gospelous." Haha! I love that girl.

Hope you all have a joyful week!
