Week 20: Another great week!

So, there wasn't much different in Becca's letter to me than what she shared in her group email, except that Sister Larsen is teaching her to knit (pic included)!  Sounds like fun!  And I LOVE that they found an old typewriter to play with. I'm sure that feels like ancient technology to them. 😂

Good Morning! 

This week was an adventure, like always. ;) On Monday we went to the cutest antique shop and wandered around for a good hour. It was enchanting! Then when we got home and had lunch we pulled out the typewriter that we found in the closet and wrote some letters. It took a while for us to figure out how to fix some of the pieces but we finally got it. Not bad for a couple of teenagers, haha! Other little adventures included eating at a yummy pizzeria (New York pizza is the best), and trying coney dogs, another upstate New York specialty. We also got to help a member work in her garden for a couple of hours. It was a blast, mud and all. :) 

We got to meet with Chris again this week. He's a great guy! He has been through so much but remains happy and positive through it all. He said he's looking for the peace and serenity that we have and so we're still teaching and testifying that this gospel and coming closer to Christ will help. He's amazing!
