Week 23: Short & Sweet

Here's a picture and paragraph from Becca's email to me that made me giggle.  Our house is not often spotless, of course, but I'm glad she picked up some good habits!  I guess it's easier to be clean when you have so little to keep in order...

I had a really good week! Of course there were some hard times, just like every week. But for the most part it was good. We had apartment inspections and our place was SPOTLESS. Thanks for teaching me how to be a clean person. Sister Roach (senior office couple) said it was the best missionary apartment she's ever seen. She even brought us treats and bragged to Sister Vest. I'm building a reputation in the mission for having OCD tendencies and being so "proper", haha. Sister Rawlinson and Sister Larsen both said that it's fasinating to watch my daily routines. Haha! When they asked how I keep so clean and organized I told them I owe it all to my mom. :)

Here's her group email:

Hello all!!

I've had an awesome week again! Missionary life is never boring, that's for sure. :)

We had a couple of awesome lessons with Chris this week! He's a great guy. We took him ice cream and then he grilled us lobster and filet mognon. It was delicious!!

One of my favorite parts about New York is how beautiful it is. We went tracting in the country one day and it had the most gorgeous views. So green! Then we were in the country again last night and it got all misty across the fields. It was so pretty.

Short email this week, so I'll share on of my favorite scriptures to finish. 2 Nephi 8:11- "Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy and holiness shall be upon their heads; and they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away."

Love you all!
Sister Fairbanks
