Week 25: Okay, maybe not autumn entirely...
I got a long letter this week, full of good stuff. 💕 Sounds like they had a busy week, reconnected with some old acquaintances, and met some new people who want to learn about the restored church of Christ. She said that one day they taught in 3 flea-infested homes... 😳😳😳 YIKES. I guess they have to spray their clothing down with alcohol and let it air dry after being in infested homes. She says she is sick of bugs, and then just added, "Oh, New York... 😄"
It looks like she didn't send pics with her group email, but she sent one to me and one to Marissa, so here they are!

Hello!
Well I thought autumn had arrived, but summer came back with a vengance! Haha! Crazy New York. I love spending my time here!
This week we did a lot of walking, celebrating birthdays, washing windows, scored some free snacks, and squished a lot of bugs. Nothing too exciting. Just entertaining. But it's the little blessings that keep us going. :)
We had stake conference this weekend, which was wonderful. There were several really good talks and I took a lot of notes. A couple of common themes spanned the conference. One was forgiveness. One brother talked about how forgiveness is not a single event or act but and on-going and imperfect process. We may not be perfect at forgiving right then and there, but what counts is the effort that we put into forgiving someone and remembering that the Savior is the ultimate forgiver. He set a great example for us and He will love us through the entire process of forgiveness. I love that.
I hope you all have a fantastic week!
