Construction in progress

So, here's a little update on the progress in the nursery.  So far, we've scraped the popcorn off the ceiling, ripped up the old carpet, patched holes and corners, primed over the stained floor, re-textured and primed the ceiling, and cleaned and primed the old paneling.  (When I say "we", I usually mean "Ryan".)  After these pics were taken, I actually helped Ry hang the wallpaper.  We found this cool, textured wallpaper that is meant to cover paneling, then you can paint it, and it's supposed to look like regular old textured walls.  So far, so good.  You can see our first test strips in the closet (kind yellow-ish).  Now the whole room looks like that, but we have to re-do four strips of paper that didn't come pre-pasted heavily enough.  Good thing we had an extra roll.  When the paper is done, we can paint, put down the new wood-laminate flooring, build the desk into the closet, and finish up the details.   Then we will move Bec into the room while we do the same thing to her room, hopefully before the baby comes!

Ry thought he could jump out of the way of this shot, but I'm too quick!
